Choc Chips and Almond Cake

Minggu lepas belek-belek archieve resepi kat Cari.com terjumpa resepi ni yang dipost oleh Maklang...Bahan-bahan pun semua ada kat rumah dan cara buat pun senang...Balik keje terus menggodek kat dapur dan hasilnya tidak mengecewakan....Sedap...Lagipun asyik buat kek coklat dah naik jemu...rasanya pun lain dari kek biasa yang pernah aku buat...Separuh saya bawak ke ofis jamu kawan-kawan...Separuh tinggal kat rumah...2 hari je dah langsai....

CHOCOLATE CHIPS & ALMOND CAKE

INGREDIENTS: 175g butter/margarine
160g caster sugar
3 large eggs
225g all-purpose flour, sifted
2 tsp baking powder. sifted with all-purpose flour
40g badam cincang
2 tbsp susu tepung
100g chocolate chips, coated with flour
25g flaked almonds, coated with flour

METHOD:
Preheat oven at 180 deg C. Prepare a greased 8 inch cake tin.
Cream together the butter/margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well between each addition.
Fold in the flour, baking powder, ground almond and milk into cake batter.
Finally, fold in chocolate chips and flaked almonds.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and springy to touch.
Leave to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before turning the cake onto a wire rack to finish cooling.
